Make a complaint, request a copy of your data, or exercise any of your other rights under UK data protection law. We'll acknowledge every request within 30 days.
Get in touch
Fill in the form below and we'll get back to you. If you'd rather email, write to hello@getollie.co.uk — that works just as well.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have a set of rights over the personal data we hold about you. Use the form above for any of these — or email us directly.
A copy of your data (access)
See exactly what we hold about you — your account details, business information, review history, the lot. We'll send it in a readable format.
Delete your account and data (erasure)
Permanently remove your account, business profile, and the personal data we hold. We may need to retain some records for legal reasons (such as billing), but everything else goes.
Correct your data (rectification)
If something we hold about you is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
Move your data elsewhere (portability)
Get a copy of your data in a structured, common format you can take to another service.
Object to or restrict processing
Ask us to stop using your data for certain things, or pause processing while a concern is investigated.
Make a complaint
If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to us directly using the form above. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, we're legally required to give you a route to do this and to acknowledge your complaint within 30 days.
How we respond
When you submit the form (or email us), you'll get an immediate confirmation that we've received your request. That confirmation counts as our formal acknowledgement under UK law.
We then investigate and respond as quickly as we reasonably can — usually within a few days for simple requests. For more complex cases, UK GDPR gives us up to one calendar month to respond fully (extendable by up to two further months for genuinely complex requests, with notice to you).
You can submit a complaint or request through any channel — this form is preferred because it captures everything in one place, but a plain email, message on social media, or letter all work too.
Escalation
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator. Under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, you should normally raise your complaint with us first — but you can always contact the ICO if you're not satisfied with how we've handled it.
