Google review tool for UK hair salons.

A bad colour leaves the salon, gets reviewed within the hour, and sits at the top of your profile by lunch. Ollie writes the reply in your voice between the next two heads.

The short versionSalon reviews are emotional. People had a vision, the colour came out different, and they posted before they got home. Ollie drafts replies that own the bit you should own and protect the stylist without sounding cold. Approve between clients on WhatsApp.

Why salons can’t leave reviews unanswered

Your next booking has read the last twelve reviews before they ring. A bad colour with no reply reads as a salon that doesn’t care. A bad colour with a warm, professional reply offering to make it right reads as a salon that handles its mistakes — which is almost more reassuring than no mistake at all.

The hardest reviews for salons are the ones that name a stylist. You can’t throw them under the bus and you can’t defend bad work either. Most salon owners pause for too long, draft something, redraft it, and never post.

What Ollie writes for salons

Drafts don’t name stylists if the reviewer didn’t. They acknowledge a colour or cut not landing without throwing it back on the consultation. They offer the fix in writing (free refresh, half-priced redo) only if you’ve told them they can — otherwise they route it offline.

Examples Ollie handles for salons

Bad colour complaint, two stars

Review ★★★★★

"Went in for a soft balayage, came out with bright orange streaks. £180 for something I’m now scared to leave the house with."

✓ Ollie drafts

Oh Becca, I’m gutted reading this. A balayage going that warm usually means there’s an underlying tone we didn’t quite catch in the consultation, which is on us. Please come back in — I’d like to tone it down properly for you, no charge. Just ring and ask for me. xx

Glowing balayage review, five stars

Review ★★★★★

"Sophie talked me out of going too blonde and gave me the most natural balayage I’ve ever had. Genuinely couldn’t be happier."

✓ Ollie drafts

Thank you Emma! Sophie’ll be made up to read this — she’s very protective of natural tones and she’ll be glad you trusted her on it. Can’t wait to top it up for you in 8-10 weeks. x

Stylist-specific complaint, one star

Review ★★★★

"Stylist barely said a word the whole time, no consultation, just got on with it. Felt rushed and ignored."

✓ Ollie drafts

Hi Lauren, I’m really sorry you came out feeling rushed — a proper consultation is the bit we care most about and that obviously didn’t happen for you today. I’d love to know who you were with so I can have a quiet word and make sure it doesn’t happen again. Drop me a DM on Instagram or give the salon a ring. x
