Google review tool for UK electricians.
You’re up a ladder fitting a consumer unit or out on an EICR. The last thing you’ve got time for is sitting down to write Google review replies. Ollie writes them; you tap approve from the van.
Why electricians lose work without realising
Most electricians we speak to know reviews matter but never sit down to write replies. Half don’t know what to say without sounding either defensive or stiff. The other half open the laptop, see three reviews waiting, and shut it again.
What Ollie writes for sparkies
Drafts know not to admit fault on regs work — if a customer says you signed off something a follow-up inspector flagged, the draft acknowledges their experience without conceding the original sign-off. They never promise refunds, never reference NICEIC complaints procedures, and don’t make claims about other electricians’ work.
And the tone matches you. If you reply short and dry, Ollie writes short and dry. No corporate “we appreciate your valued feedback” rubbish.
Examples Ollie handles every week
EICR fail dispute, two stars
"Had EICR done in January, came back with a clean bill of health. Six months later another sparky said there were three issues that should have been picked up. Won’t use again."
Hi Mark, EICRs cover what’s visible and testable on the day, and reasonable engineers can take different views on borderline observations. I’d need to look back at the report and what the other sparky raised before commenting properly. Drop us a ring with the certificate to hand and I’ll go through it with you.
Glowing rewire review, five stars
"Rewired the whole house, four days, no mess, kept us updated. Old fuse board upgraded too. Spot on."
Cheers Helen, glad it landed well. Whole-house rewires are the ones we like to take time over so it’s good to hear that came through. Enjoy the new place — you know where we are.
Callout charge complaint, one star
"Called out at 8pm for a tripped consumer unit, all he did was reset it and charged me £85. Daylight robbery."
Hi James, the callout charge is set up front and covers travel and diagnostic time after hours — sometimes the fault really is just a reset, but we don’t know that until we’ve checked. If we didn’t make the rate clear when you rang, that’s on us. Give us a call and we’ll talk it through.
